Seahawks Bye Week
Notes
The Seahawks (5-0) enter the bye week hoping to battle the Arizona
Cardinals (3-2) completely healthy. This week its about the Seahawks’ schedule
and toward the bottom is an NFC cheering guide.
Why you should be optimistic when looking at the Seahawks schedule
The Seahawks are lucky when it comes to the schedule. The Seahawks
have some important games in the next few weeks but then the schedule helps the
Seahawks towards the end of the season. And those important games are the games
the Seahawk play against the other teams in the NFC West. Those games include the
Cardinals, Rams and the 49ers. These games are important because if the Seahawks win most
of these games the Seahawks should win vision. Winning the division would help us
get a better spot in the playoffs. The past 5 weeks have been the tougher stretch
in our schedule, after The Seahawks play the divisional games in the next couple of weeks
its smooth sailing from here on out. I would say that because if you look at
the end part of our schedule, Seahawks play the NFC east. Those teams include the 0-5
Giants, the 1-3-1 Eagles, 1-4 Washington football team and the
2-3 Cowboys. The already played the Cowboys, and all of the other NFC East teams
are really bad and have a losing record. Not to mention the Seahawk also play the
winless Jets too. The schedule really helps the Seahawks. On the other hand,
the 49ers have a bumpy ride ahead. They have a lot of injuries, and they are
2-3. And those 2 wins came from beating the winless Giants and Jets. After this
week against the rams they start to play the harder games including the Saints,
Bills, Packers and all the divisional games. In terms of the schedule the Seahawks
are in good hands.
NFC Cheering guide - (Who to vote for during the bye week)
Well unless you’re not a Seahawks fan, you’ll find a lot time
on your hands as the Seahawks are on their bye this week. So, if you get bored
and want to watch some football this week, here’s who you should vote for to
win in 2 of the NFC games this Week.
La Rams (4-1) @ San Francisco 49ers (2-3), (5:20pm PST)
Even though its likely that the Rams will beat the 49ers,
you must hope that the 49ers win this week. I know people in Seattle like the
rams more than the 49ers, but if the rams lose this game it could tremendously
help the Seahawks. Thru 5 weeks the race for the top spot in the NFC West has
become clearer. The Seahawks lead the race at 5-0, and the Rams are not too far
behind. If the Rams loose that would make the separation between the Rams and
the Seahawks even further. Remember the Rams are currently 1 game behind the
Seahawks. A Rams loss would create more wiggle room for the Seahawks. And if
your worried that the 49ers will bounce back this season, I highly doubt that.
Like I mentioned above, the 49ers have tough path ahead and it is likely that
they lose even more games.
Green Bay Packers (4-0) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2), (1:25pm
PST)
As Seahawks fans you might want to see Tom Brady lose. But
in the long run, if Tampa Bay wins this game it could also help the Seahawks.
Here’s what I mean. The race for NFC’s top spot is also getting clearer, It’s
the Seahawks and the Packers leading the charge. Both teams are either number one
or number two in the NFC. Talent wise and record wise, the race between the 2
teams could not have been more tight. If the Packers lose, it could give the
upper hand in the race. And getting the number one spot in the NFC is more
important than ever. I say that because of the extended playoffs, only the
first seed team gets an extra bye. So, a Packers loss could help the Seahawks
get the first seed. It’s likely that the Packers win, but even though it might
be weird, you should cheer on Tom Brady and the Bucs.
